We have received on the 9th of November 2016 the wonderful news that our School Health Clinic has achieved a prestigious award from the Dubai Health Authority as the 'Best School Health Team Award' in recognition of their dedicated and outstanding work in health related services during the academic year 2015-2016.
We would like to remind you that DIS operates a 'No Nut' policy, this includes items such as peanut butter and Nutella, we have a number of students who have a severe nut allergy and by sending your child to school with nuts puts these students in serious harm.
One of our core values in DIS is that we should try to "promote human rights and responsibilities". This has motivated a group of IB2 students to contribute to society by collaborating with a charity called "The Box Appeal". The Box Appeal allows people to collect boxes and fill them with brand new everyday necessities that are then distributed to the less fortunate labourers.
