As part of the UAE National Agenda Targets, every few years, students from different international schools in the region take part in a worldwide assessment named PISA & TIMSS. Students are assessed in Maths, Science and English, and the results are compared between the schools internationally. The last assessment took place in 2015, in which our students achieved fantastic results that put our school among the highest performing schools in both the UAE and the rest of the world.
During this academic term, a group of students from Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 have created a student newspaper called "The Deira Daily". Students have been responsible for researching, organising and presenting the stories they feel should be shared with our community using their own words.
