IB Career-related Programme

The IB Career Related Programme (IBCP) is recognized internationally as a qualification for university entrance or direct entry to industry. Students share an educational experience that emphasises critical thinking as well as industry experience. The IBCP offers a pathway based on the interests and future career aspirations of the student. The inclusion of a weekly Al Futtaim internship has created a unique Career-related Programme for Deira International School. Students can take each subject at either Higher Level or at Standard Level. The subject groups are:

Group 2: Language Acquisition

4. Spanish B
5. Arabic B

Group 5: Mathematics

1. Mathematics Analysis and Approaches
2. Mathematics Applications and Interpretations

Group 6: The Arts and Electives

1. Visual Arts
2. Theatre
3. Film
4. Music
5. Physics
6. Biology
7. Chemistry
8. Design Technology
9. Computer Science
10. Business Management
11. Economics
12. Psychology

Students choose one of the following BTEC Level 3 Diplomas

1. Business
2. Travel and Tourism

In addition, students complete the IBCP core elements of
