Woven into Daily School Life
Training starts early. Fixtures run all week. Our teams compete across Dubai in football, rugby, netball, basketball, cricket, athletics, swimming and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, regularly representing DIS in DASSA. Two pools, two air-conditioned sports halls, a FIFA-approved pitch and a specialist coaching team back every player, in every sport. For some, sport is about competition and performance. For others, it is about confidence, routine and enjoyment. Both matter, and both are supported. | Students are encouraged to be active, committed and involved. |
Facilities That Support Real Sporting Development
DIS has the space and facilities to run a high-quality sports programme properly. These are not add-ons, but core parts of the school environment, used daily across year groups.
Students have access to:
- Two temperature-controlled swimming pools
- Two air-conditioned sports halls
- Netball and basketball courts
- Natural grass rugby and football pitches
- Three astroturf football pitches, including a full-sized FIFA-approved pitch

This range allows students to train consistently, prepare for competition and experience sport in settings that reflect real match conditions.
