Overall summary of IB and IGCSE Examination Results 2018

The IGCSE results for the 2017-2018 academic year are also very impressive, especially considering the ability range in our inclusive intake at DIS with 10% of our registered students identified with special needs.

Our highest performing student, Anjay Singh, achieved an A* in 9 subjects.

Overview of IB Diploma and IB Career-related Programme Results 

We are delighted with the results achieved by our IB students and are very proud of their success. Once again, Deira International School is celebrating excellent student achievement in IB. As an inclusive non-selective school, we traditionally compare very favorably with the world averages by significant margins and this year was no exception with a pass rate of 92% compared with a world average of 79%. Our top performing student, Talal Fahoum, scored 43 points (out of possible 45). 77% of students scored over 30 points (world average of 54%) and 32% scored more than 35 points (world average of 26%). These results represent the hard work by our students, the professional commitment from teachers and the unwavering support from parents.
